Benjamin Olabamidele

“The only constant in life is change” – a basic but meaningful principle. It reminds me to constantly re-evaluate situations, decisions and the status quo, in an everlasting quest for continuous (self-)development.
Looking for a way to bring this principle to life and apply it within my work environment, I met consistency – a company where asking the right questions and continuous improvement are items on our daily agenda. In an effort to generate positive value for all stakeholders, passion, expertise and value creation are paramount for all employees.

During my studies, I worked in intercultural as well as interdisciplinary teams. These experiences, along with the focus areas of my master’s degree which were consulting, organizational change, and leadership, presented me with a framework that I use in my work with people regularly. People are the center of everything: they act as decision makers, change agents, and innovation seekers. Hence, it is inevitable to build your core competencies around people – exactly what consistency is all about.

consistency offers flexibility, freedom, and trust – an attitude I value highly. Entrepreneurial thinking and acting are not restricted and make it possible to provide tailored solutions for the client as well as for your own personal development journey.

Outside of my work, I follow similar principles: the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Accordingly, I feel at home in any sport activity: from soccer to boxing to beach volleyball. I also apply this attitude in the kitchen, meaning that I identify myself as a passionate cook and host, catering to friends and family with dishes from a wide variety of cultures.
